Overview

Wood will come from two main sources - #1 Wood Waste from the Forestry Industry, #2 Beetle Kill Wood from some of the 8.7 million hectares of Pine Beetle Infested forests in British Columbia.

British Columbia's government's Energy Policy promotes independent power projects with an emphasis towards renewable projects.  By utilizing wood waste from the forestry industry that is already being burned in beehive burners, the Company is helping the province by having the wood waste burnt in a controlled environmentally responsible manner.  Also, by removing Beetle Kill Wood from the forest and replanting, this will help reforest areas of the province that have been hit hard by the Pine Beetle.

The Company is also looking at the opportunities for the potential of ancillary business such as growing seedlings for the forestry industry that could utilize some of the waste heat that is generated in the power project.
